The Verified sender AddOn in Ubivox is a trademark that, to your clients, signals that you adhere to a specific code of conduct within e-mail marketing.
The code of conduct is as follows:
-
You verify that you are an authentic company by sending us your CBR number.
-
You provide us with a business contact person.
-
You have to use double opt in in your sign up form.
-
You need to have a public accessable homepage and it needs to contain contact information.
-
You have to use a valid sender address (i.e. not a noreply@) and all e-mails have to contain contact information.
-
Finally, you have to adhere to our anti spam policy
Once you adhere to this code of conduct you can begin to signal that you are a Verified sender. You can signal this by inserting a HTML logo code at a page on your website. You find the logo by selecting Account on the Dashboard and then by selecting Verified sender
Once you have been registered as a Verified sender, the logo you wish to use will lead people to a page where they will be able to see the code of conduct you are adhering to as well as a contact person and your CBR number. You can see an example here
Additional advantages
There are more advantages than 'merely' signaling clarity and quality to your clients through the Verified sender app on. An additional advantage is that at the moment you become verified you are automatically moved to another server. This server is only shared by other Verified senders, which means that your 'reputation' will automatically increase. With this increase your newsletters and e-mails are less likely to be considered as spam.
